Xten Industries provides plastic injection molding, subassembly, inventory management, and other value-added services to companies in a variety of industries. With headquarters in Kenosha, Wisconsin and a second operating facility located just outside of Chicago, Illinois, Xten’s operations are well situated to serve customers with distribution needs throughout North America. After acquiring their second operating facility and substantially growing the Company’s revenue base, the shareholders of Xten Industries engaged Promontory as financial advisor to explore strategic and financial alternatives. After an exhaustive exploration of both strategic and financial options, a sale to Illinois-based Commercial Plastics Company satisfied the majority of the shareholders’ objectives. The combined business boasts over 60 injection molding presses, some with capabilities of up to 2,000 tons, and serves a variety of growing industries including aerospace, appliance, electrical, industrial, recreational and outdoor consumer products, as well as transportation market segments.
