Based in West Bend, Wisconsin, Delta Defense is the service provider to the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), the fastest-growing self-defense association in the United States. The USCCA provides education, training, and self-defense liability insurance to a nationwide membership of more than 800,000 responsible firearm owners. Delta Defense has built a mission-driven organization focused on promoting responsible firearm ownership, delivering high-quality self-defense education, and ultimately saving lives. To support the continued growth and leadership of the USCCA, Delta Defense pursues a disciplined growth strategy centered on partnering with, investing in, and acquiring complementary businesses that align with its values and expand its training and member-support capabilities.

Consistent with this strategy, Promontory serves as a trusted advisor to Delta Defense on corporate development initiatives, including strategic mergers and acquisitions. To expand its sales and training platform, Delta Defense acquired Armed Self Defense Instruction LLC, doing business as Armed Self Defense Institute (ASDI). Founded in 2010 and based in Orem, Utah, ASDI is a leading provider of concealed carry (CCW) permit classes across multiple states. Promontory advised Delta Defense throughout the transaction, including negotiating the Letter of Intent, managing due diligence, and assisting in the successful closing of the acquisition.
