Prior to forming Promontory Strategy Group, Christopher Riegg jointly established Milwaukee-based Promontory Point Capital in 2004 as an investment banking firm focused on providing business and transaction advisory services to privately-held, many of which are family-held, businesses. His vision for this firm was to advise ownership groups and leadership teams that require professional expertise and leadership in areas such as succession planning, achieving ownership transition and liquidity goals, completing corporate finance and refinancing objectives, along with other strategic M&A and financing goals. During his time leading Promontory, the firm had the privilege of leading over 200 client engagements serving a diverse set of industries encompassing manufacturers, companies involved in business services, technology, and software, as well as distribution companies operating across the Midwest and beyond.
