Chris has advised more than 200 ownership groups and leadership teams on succession planning, ownership transitions, mergers & acquisitions, and complex financing outcomes across manufacturing, distribution, business services, and technology sectors.

In addition to establishing and leading Promontory Strategy Group, Chris is also a partner with Promontory Point Capital, an investment banking firm he co-founded in 2004. His investment banking, corporate strategy, and financial services career also includes roles at L. William Teweles & Co., U.S. Bank Capital Markets, and J.P. Morgan Chase.

Chris earned a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Marquette University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a licensed CPA in the State of Wisconsin.
